McMahon School of Irish Dancing
Established 1992
All you need to know about us!
Our School has been teaching girls and boys to dance since 1992.
We offer small classes that focus on individual tuition and we encourage the students to progress at their own pace through the various grades from Beginners to Open and Championship levels.
We also train students to participate in all levels of competition, from Beginner grades up to the AIDA competitions including the NSW State Championships and Australian Championships and other regional Feiseanna.
We also offer classes for Adult dancers - classes are suitable for dancers of all levels of experience - absolute beginners to former dancers returning to class.
The School offers a Grade Exam Prep programme for dancers wanting to take part in the Annual Dancer Grade Examinations. These exams are registered with An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha. The Grade Exams are a requirement for dancers wishing to become registered teachers (TCRG)
McMahon School students also participate in community events such as the St Patrick's Day Parade, the Granny Smith Festival, School Fetes and private functions.
